I purchased a Dillon RL1050 used with the 223 dies in it. I was told that the person I purchased this press from did not use the swage. I however setup the swage to work and when I swage my 223 shells the top hole becomes to large for the 223 bullet and the bullet drops through. Happy Holidays ! Called the folks at P/W and spent over an hour on the phone tweaking. Yesterday I loaded up about 500 rounds of 9mm. This setup looks promising.
Mar 17, 2019 · Have two 1050's, with MR bullet feeders on both. One is set up for SP the other LP. I run the bullet feeder all the time with the SP set which I load 9mm, 38 spl and 38 super. All bullets are either 120 coated or 115 JHP and they work very well, with one setting. Not 100%, but I am sure it would be if I made all adjustments for one bullet.
